Welcome, dear friends!


This is our first entry in the Developer Diary. We want you to be aware of all
the events in the development of our game.

In the game "Demesne" character will survive in the taiga. He will need to get food, purify water,
to hunt animals. At this point in the game there is an opportunity to explore the forest,
find a pair of houses, clothes and some food. About animals: you can look for deers.
Gameplay is still lacking.

Now the character can get tired, feel hungry, there is a scale of health.
Under the water scale of air apears.

The essence of the blog


In this blog we will try to describe everything that is being developed
at the moment between the entries in the blog.

Let's get started.

At the moment we are working on a tool that will allow to create vegetation,
which you can interact with: picking berries, mushrooms, tree felling,
collecting firewood (felled trees, fallen branches). For this tool is developing
the vegetation. Berries:  bramble, briar, great bilberry, red whortleberry,
hawthorn (berries on the tree); mushrooms: orange-cap boletus, brown-cap boletus,
white, russula, fly-agarics; nuts: filbert, pine; roots: eleutherococcus.

Also, in the next update, you will see new elements of the environment:
2 species of dry trees, 6 species of shrubs and 4 species of tree stumps.

 


 

 

 


 


 

Crafting. This is what all the players like. Though now the game has inventory, but it does not allow to manipulate with anything. Thanks to the improved inventory, that we're actually also working on now, it will be possible for crafting. First for crafting will be able to make a fire. Bonfire will have different ways to divorce.

As in any game, our one will also have a story.

We ponder the main-menu image of the game using the essence of the story: a character is a pilot who was supposed to deliver victual to one of the military bases located in the forest. After unloading on the way back due to a failure in the engine pilot had to make an emergency landing in the forest. On one of the clearings he manages to land, but breaks off one of the chassis and the continued use of the vehicle is not possible. The aircraft can be useful to you for living or storage space. Communication on the plane did not work even before the collapse: he wanted to fix it, but he was just lazy-bones man. As is usually the case. Note that 1993 is the year in the game. The country had a mess.

Development of the aircraft model AN-2, from which comes the beginning of the game, has completed approximately 80%.

 

 

 


Now character appears in shorts in an uncertain place. In the future, the character will appear dressed with a small supply of food and water. Also, there will be some drugs in the plane.

All that has been described, it is planned to release partly in version 0.8.0.0, and partly in version 0.9.0.0.
